An embankment is built in layers: the material is spread, shaped and compacted before the next layer goes down. That calls for a crawler dozer to push and shape, and a vibratory roller to close each lift. We have both, and it is that combination that keeps the fill from settling later. We apply it to roads, industrial pads, subdivisions and dikes.
