What we do in this industry
Before a rig moves in or a pipeline is laid, you have to reach the site and leave it firm. That means a pad shaped and compacted, a road that carries loaded traffic through the rainy season, and trench opened to the depth the route calls for. It is short-schedule work with long consequences: an access that softens with the first rain stops the whole job.
